HypnoBirthing® - The Method to Ease Fear and Pain in Birthing Taught by Alisha Tamburri, CCHT, MH•Easier birth
•More comfortable pregnancy
•Less fear and tension
•More relaxed and shorter labor
•Rapid post natal recovery
•Calmer parents and baby
HypnoBirthing® The Mongan Method created in 1989 by Marie Mongan is as much a philosophy as it is a technique. This method teaches that in the absence of fear and tension, severe pain does not have to accompany labor.
HypnoBirthing has become increasingly popular among pregnant women and their doctors, midwives and hospitals. When a woman is afraid the muscles in her uterus constrict causing pain and fear. HypnoBirthing breaks the fear-tension-pain syndrome by releasing conscious and subconscious fears. After learning visualization techniques, birth breathing, and self hypnosis women have given birth with little or no discomfort.
HypnoBirthing is the method to eliminate fear, shorten labor and create calmer parents and babies. This is a complete childbirth education course that covers what parents need to know about pregnancy, childbirth and parenting. This class creates a safe place for parents to address their fears and questions regarding birthing and becoming parents.
Five sessions: Feb. 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th, March 6 - 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM in Studio 1.
