Labor Support Workshop for Couples with Juliette Kurth & Jonathan Emerson
A Workshop for expecting mothers and their partners. Juliette Kurth and her husband, Jonathan Emerson, are co-founders of Silver Lake Yoga and certified yoga instructors for over 20 years. Parents of two children, they bring their personal experience of childbirth, as well as countless births Juliette has worked at as a D.O.N.A. certified doula to this workshop, developing a variety of touch support techniques, breathing and physical postures to help ease the laboring mom and empower the partner through labor. This class emphasizes the importance of developing a dialogue between partners so as to be useful and supportive during the birth process. 7:15 to 9:30pm. Bring a birthing ball 75 - 85 cm.

Welcome to Silver Lake Yoga. On this site you can sign up for workshops or purchase classes via our online shop. You can view our class schedule or subscribe via google calendar - you do not need to sign up for classes, just stop by. We offer 65 classes every week, from beginners to flow, and including pilates and thai chi, to suit your needs and to allow you to explore and grow in your practice. We are competitively priced.
